I write and I mom. I mom and I write.

I'm an autism mom, soccer mom, rugby mom, and stepmom and, when I'm not mom-ing, I'm writing. Mostly humor. I like to laugh but what I really like is making other people laugh!

So, where's my funny stuff?

Oh, and back in 2008 and 2011, I wrote two humorous memoirs: Confessions of a Counterfeit Farm Girl and 500 Acres and No Place to Hide, More Confessions of a Counterfeit Farm Girl.

I still write some on occasion. If you're a memoir writer, you need to submit to The Memoirist. It is THE publication out here for memoirists.

What else?

When I'm not writing about my kids, my anxiety, my anxiety's anxiety, empty supermarket shelves, annoying emails from Amazon, and people who inadvertently make porn, I'm editing the magazines I'm responsible for, binge-watching far too many shows on Netflix, reading, and giving the occasional TEDx Talk.

Yes, my hair was a lot shorter then and no, my topic was not humor.
